The Seniors' Resource Council offers a variety of services to seniors in the Arborg and surrounding area. Implemented in 1997 when a need was recognized for centralized Senior services, much has been accomplished since that time. Services offered by the Seniors Resource Council include: Congregate meal program, Home Emergency Response Units, Fee for Service Programs and Handi-Van services. The Seniors Resource Council also organizes large celebration dinners during the year, in particular at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Arborg Bifrost Fire Department (ABFD) is a dedicated volunteer organization, with a mandate of providing fire fighting and related emergency services to Arborg and the surrounding area. Residents of Arborg, Bifrost and Riverton are permitted to dispose of household waste at no charge during regular hours of operation. BAR Waste also accepts your E-Waste (computers, monitors, televisions, fax machines, circuit boards, cell phone batteries, regular phones ~ cordless included, cell phone batteries, etc.).
BAR Waste now accepts Household Hazardous Waste, such as paint and paint aerosols, corrosives, some flammable liquids, pesticides & toxics. Non-accepted products include: leaking or improperly sealed products, cosmetic products, refillable propane containers, fertilizer or ammunition, drugs & medicines, mercury switches, and caulking compounds.

The former CPR Railway Station is now the Home of the Evergreen Regional Library. The building was declared a heritage site and as such was restored to its original condition.

The Bridge Youth Drop In Centre opened its doors in March of 2011. Located at 285 Ardal Street, the Centre is open to all youth in Grades 7 through 12 with the exception of Tuesday evenings which are reserved for Grades 9 - 12 teens only.
The Bridge is open Tuesday & Thursday 7:00 to 10:30 PM; Wednesday 3:30 - 6 PM; Friday 7 - 11 PM, and occasionally Saturday from 7 - 11 PM.
